IndiaWood is primarily a business to business trade exhibition for woodworking professionals to source machineries, technologies, products and services.

The exhibition is open to trade and business visitors only. For security and safety reasons, the general public and minors below the age of 18 will not be allowed admission. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry without being required to give reasons.

Is the exhibition free to attend?

Can I buy product samples or exhibits and take them from the exhibition?

No you cannot buy product samples or exhibits at the exhibition as per ITPO (India Trade Promotion Organisation) guidelines. However, you are most welcome to pre-book or place an order at the exhibition.

Are there any events or activities taking place during the exhibition?

Yes, there will be B2B forums / seminars during IndiaWood. Please visit the website closer to the exhibition for detailed information.

Are children allowed to visit the exhibition?

No. As IndiaWood is a trade event, no one under 18 years of age will be allowed to enter the exhibition

Will there be a show catalogue available at the exhibition?

Yes, there will be a show catalogue available at the exhibition. The catalogue is charged at Rs. 350/- per copy and can be bought from the registration desks at the show. Courier charges on actuals are applicable in case you want the catalogue to be couriered to you.

How do I register to visit?

All trade visitors can spot register at any of the registration counters during their visit to the show. Trade visitors can also pre-register online.

Are there places to eat at BIEC and in the exhibit halls?

A multi-cuisine food court will be operational at BIEC duringIndiaWood 2018. The fast food outlets will operate from ground floor of Food Court and Food Plaza in different locations inside BIEC and will be highlighted with direction signages. The fast food outlets and a speciality restaurant will operate from the ground and first floor of the food court respectively. In addition, dry snack bars will operate from Exhibition Halls. Bottled drinking water will be available from food counters.

What if I need medical assistance?

First Aid room with medical assistance including doctor and ambulance, in case of emergency, will be available at BIEC during the fair period, including pre & post exhibition period.

What is the weather like in Bangalore during the show (in March)?

Nature has gifted Bangalore city with a very pleasant and moderate climate. In Bangalore, neither would you tremble with cold in winters, nor would you drench with sweat in summers. Bangalore weather boasts of cool winters and warm summers, without any extremes in both the cases.
